The mountains in winter are not only a playground for skiers and mountaineers; discover its hidden beauty with snowshoes, the perfect way to pass over it’s snow covered terrain!
Our proposals offer you the possibility to discover magical snow covered forests, a natural winter wonderland of breathtaking panoramic scenery, an evening under the stars, and why not, a good traditional dinner in a warm and inviting mountain lodge.
Any technical equipment (snowshoes) can be supplied by the organisation on request.

| | Saturday night Snowshoe Fever Every Saturday evening, during the winter season, we propose a late afternoon departure with snowshoes, a couple of hours excursion before sundown, followed by a typical traditional Aosta Valley dinner!
The excursions depart from various locations; Colle San Carlo, Vetan, Planpincieux (Courmayeur), and from Ozein (at the beginning of the Cogne valley).
| | Every Monday during the winter season we propose a day excursion departing at 10am from a choice of 4 locations (to be chosen depending on the current snow conditions); Valdigne, Valgrisenche, Valsavarenche and Val di Rhemes.
Each trip will have between 400 and 800mt of vertical, therefore a fairly good physical preparation is required.
After every excursion an appetising afternoon snack awaits!
| | From the second half of February onwards we propose a weekend on snowshoeing in the view of Monte Bianco. Meeting point is Planpincieux in Val Ferret on Saturday at 2pm.
After aprox. 3 hours of walking we reach Refuge Bonatti in time for a moment to relax followed by a typical local dinner and a slide show presentation before bed time.
Sunday: after breakfast, we head up to Colle di Entre Deux Sauts for a fabulous full panoramic view of the Monte Bianco chain. Back to base by mid afternoon.
| | Snowshoe Tour of Valgrisenche A 4 day snowshoe trek around the beautiful Valgrisenche.
Friday: Departure from Bonne in Valgrisenche for a tour of the lake, upto Surier and back.
Saturday: A tour up to the small mountain farms of Arp Vielle. Dinner and overnight stay at a Hotel in the area both Saturday and Sunday evening.
Sunday and Monday: A selection of itineraries to choose from of whichLac du Fond, Feluma, Becca di Tos, Sigaro del Col Cussuma or towards Rabuigne.
The vertical for each tour ranges from 500mt – 800mt. (apart from the tour of the lake where it does not exceed 350mt).
| | The Ibex and Chamois mating season During December and January, for all Ibex and Chamois lovers, a day out in search of these beautiful wild animals within the confines of the Gran Paradiso National Park. A variety of possible itineraries in both the valleys of Cogne and Valsavarenche, take us into the heart of their protected territory to allow us to observe them in their natural winter habitat during their reproductive season.
| | Nature Safari in the National Park From February onwards, every Wednesday we propose a day safari in the Gran Paradiso National Park in search of wildlife. Itineraries covering all 3 valleys of the park; Cogne, Valsavarenche and Val di Rhemes.
