Here are the itineraries that we have chosen for you.. But obviously that’s not all! The various valleys of the Aosta Valley and the nearby Valle dell’Arve in France, offer endless ski touring possibilities. Why not chose, together with us, which ones to try?

PROGRAMS 2009-10

BASIC COURSE cod 308

Just to beguin, learning thecnicalities and security; the course start on Friday morning ending on Sunday afternoon. Daily ascents are some 500 meters. Half board in Refuges.

ADVANCED COURSE cod 309

Starting on Friday morning, end on Sunday aftrenoon; you’ll learn advanced thecnicalities and theory and practice in preparing an ascent and security (battage, stratigraphy, …) Daily ascents are some 1.000 meters. Half board in Refuges.

GRAN PARADISO HAUTE ROUTE cod 301

A great raid starting from Cogne, where you’ll be back in 5 days. Crossing Valnontey, Lauson, Gran Neyron, Laveciou, Gran Paradiso, Montcorvè, Noaschetta, Taleccio and Valeille glaciers you’ll reach the summit of Gran Paradiso (4.061 mt) on the third day. Daily ascent max 1.300 mt. Half board in Refuges.

FOUR DAYS IN VALPELLINE cod 302

Valpelline is the border between Aosta Valley and Switzerland: in 4 days you’ll reache the summits of Mont Gelè, Pigna d’Arolla, Mont Brulè and Tete de Valpelline. Total ascent is some 4.200 mt. Half board in Refuges.

FROM VALPELLINE TO VAL D’AYAZ cod 303

In 4 days a fantastic raid starting from Glassier in Valpelline, reaching Zermatt and ending in Champoluc – Val d’Ayaz. From Fenetre Durand you’ll reach Cabanne the Chanrion, climb Pigna d’Arolla and cross Col de l’Eveque, Col du Mont Brulet and Col de Valpelline. The last day descent of Verra Glacier down to Champoluc. Total ascent is some 3.800 mt. Half board in Refuges.

BREITHORN AND GRAN PARADISO cod 304

In 3 days two 4.000 mt summit: Breithorn from Plateau Rosa (Cervinia) and Gran Paradiso from Valsaverenche. Half board in Refuges.

FROM VALGRISENCHE TO VALSAVERENCHE cod 305

This 5 days tour take place in Gran Paradiso National Park, starting from Bonne in Valgrisenche, crossino in Val di Rhemes and ending, the last day in Valsaverenche. Total ascent is some 4.500 mt. Half board in Refuges.

HAUTE ROUTE CHAMONIX - ZERMATT cod 306

The most famous Haute Route in the Alps starting from the eastern side of Mont Blanc, crossing Swiss glaciers and summits, and reaching Zermatt; the last day from Zermatt, ascending the Kleine Matterhorn with cable car lift, a fantastic descent to Cervinia. In 6 days some 5.300 mt ascent and some 11.000 descents! Half board in Refuges.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY IN VAL DI RHEMES OR IN VALGRISENCHE cod 307

For a 3 days ski touring we suggest three possibilities: one in Val di Rhems at Rifugio Benevolo and some 2.400 mt total ascent, one in Valgrisenche ai Rifugio Bezzi and some 2.600 mt total ascent, and the last as circular tour Valgrisenche – Val di Rhemes – Valgrisenche with some 3.800 mt total ascent.
